Flava in Ya Ear“, the 1994 platinum hit proved the skills of Mack as a hip hop artist.  He was signed to one of the top labels during the 90’s Bad Boy Entertainment. Mack then disappeared in the hip-hop industry until in 2012 a video was leaked on YouTube, saying he had joined a Christian ministry, surprising family members and fans. From 2012 until his death.  Mack died on March 12, 2018 from heart failure at a hospital near his home in South Carolina.

According to Nydailynews, Diddy remembers the rapper’s loyalty to hip hop and his passion when he states “Craig Mack, you were the first artist to release music on Bad Boy and gave us our first hit,” he began. “You always followed your heart and you had an energy that was out of this world. You believed in me and you believed in Bad Boy. I will never forget what you did for hip-hop. You inspired me, and I will continue to try to keep inspiring others. We will always love you.”
