State of Housing in Black America

This report provides an overview of the economy and housing market for African Americans since the start of the housing crisis and Great Recession in 2007. It concludes with a series of recommendations to restructure the housing finance system, ensure an adequate supply of rental housing, and comprehensively rebuild communities that have been particularly harmed by the foreclosure crisis and weak jobs market.
